180° Truck-Mounted Crane Modification

Sometimes, while working with your machine, you realize that certain adjustments or modifications are needed to make the job more enjoyable, as was the case with this crane. This truck-mounted crane could not swing over the cargo bed but had to take “the long way” at all times. That meant that to get from one side of the cargo bed to the other, it had to swing over the truck cab. To solve this problem, the owner brought it to Bofram Techniek.

The team at Bofram handled the modification of this crane. The crane was rotated 180 degrees so that the swivel mechanism would allow it to swing over the cargo bed. This makes the job much easier for the crane’s owner.
