Truck body with an Atlas truck-mounted crane for Van Boekel
Body Construction
Bofram Techniek specializes in truck body construction. Van Boekel Goep from Zeeland had a specific request when purchasing their new truck: a large cargo bed with a two-sided tailgate so that wider materials could be loaded. Bofram Techniek built this magnificent truck body with an Atlas truck-mounted crane in collaboration with Scania Veghel. The truck is a Scania Tridem 8×4 equipped with an Atlas 332.3E|A5-metric-ton truck-mounted crane featuring a 14.5-meter boom length and additional functions.
Atlas Truck-Mounted Crane
The truck-mounted crane features a large hydraulic system for fast loading and unloading movements.
Using the standard radio-controlled remote in the truck with crane, you can operate the working functions and adjust settings such as support and lateral hydraulic stabilizers. This Atlas truck-mounted crane is equipped with a comprehensive package of comfort and safety features, allowing you to work more efficiently with a focus on results rather than operation.
Hydraulic Tailgate
The truck’s loading bed is 6.20 meters long and features a hydraulic tailgate on both sides, giving it a robust appearance. The Hydrobord is operated via a remote control. The tailgate mechanism is designed as a long hinge. Thanks to this design, residual cargo cannot interfere with the closing process.
